Took a head from an XT250R they swore they could fix after a spark plug was cross threaded
After waiting 2 months I called to find out they could not repair their welder arched across the valve seats, I was told then they would buy a new head. Waited another 2 months to hear them say it was ready. When I picked it up paid them $303
For the labor I asked for the old head to my surprise I was informed they just fixed the original one. Got it our shop to find it was pitted so badly between valve seats it allowed fluids to freely flow out of the seats. Attempted to get management to look at it they refused told me it was fine....well it wasn't we ended up buying a new head
AIMS cost us 900.00
Horrible customer service or lack of
They don't care if it's done right
We will send things down to Cali before we ever do business with untalented welders again
I have videos of the valve seats leaking that's going on the net next

After diligent research and reading all the reviews (some were negative) the one thing that stood out about this shop is its 50+ years in business, so I made my decision to stop by and check them out. Wow , awesome facility and customer service. Spending $65000.00 on an engine my trust in shops are very limited. This shop and group of guys put my mind at ease with their professionalism and combined experience of over 100 yrs. It's rare to find people who stand behind their word and these guys rocked the house. Now ,my buddy who has a 16 car collection is turned on to these guys he couldn't be happier as well.

Fast, Honest, & Fair

I've been going to Aims for about 15 years & have always been treated with the utmost respect. They tell me the truth & stand behind their work. I have never had a problem but I have witnessed them dealing more than fairly with a customer that claimed to have one. They bent over backwards to help the guy even though it is likely, he caused the problem himself. I would highly recommend Aims to anyone.

I will never go to this shop again. I had my engine machined here and the tolerances were all over the place. not a single component was correct. the mains were too large to fit in the block, the bores were out of round and not bored to the correct size, possibly not at all. and they charged me for things i never asked for. they wanted $100 for a broken bolt removal and i brought the block in bare. do not go here if you wan your engine to run.
