We had a 1997 7.3L F-250 with a worn out transmission from hauling horses for years. Jessy gave us a quote for a new rebuild. During the rebuild there were several issues which needed to be addressed. Being disabled we could not afford the newly found problems. Jessy not only took care of the cost of the issues but he gave us an extended warranty!
We would highly recommend Levco transmission and Jessy for his ability to work with his customers.

Levco is amazing. Jesse and his guys stayed til midnight to ensure I had my car the next day for work! They are always thoughtful, caring, respectful and most of all honest. They always explain everything in detail. I recommend them for any car repair!

I had my transmission rebuilt here. I dealt mostly with Victor and he is a friendly, honest man. He showed me what was wrong and a couple of different options on taking care of a transmission leak. The prices were fair and Jesse tried to save me as much money as he could, even when I said that I did not care what it costs as long as this was done right. I have no complaints about how the transmission is working now. The pan was leaking after a couple of weeks and they fixed it immediately, it looks like they honor their year warranty . They like to talk cars and explain everything they are doing and offer suggestions on other upgrades that can be done, without trying to sell anything. They even offer you cold sodas out of their stash...

Awesome, honest, affordable shop!!! After a very horrible experience and false advertising with Harry's Quality Cars, I took my 2000 Honda Accord into Jesse and his team to get it checked out. My car was leaking oil and transmission fluid all over the place after three days of driving it and many other things that resulted in having to replace the engine entirely. I was shocked and devastated at the bad news and lies that were fed to me by this POS lot and really didn't have much money to get all this fixed. Jesse was very compassionate and honest about the situation and worked with me financially so I could get everything fixed that I needed to. They kept in contact with me everyday with the progress of my car and physically showed me every single thing that was wrong before they fixed it so I knew that they were genuinely honest and not just saying something needed to be fixed that didn't like most other mechanics do. I am pleased beyond belief with the work they did and have found a new place I can trust to take my vehicles. If I could give more stars I would, these guys are amazing and you will not be disappointed.

I have a 95 chevy lumina thanks to Jesse and his employees saved me my car and money. I lost my job and then my car starts to give me a hard time. Took it to a couple well known places and they replaced parts and told me it might be my engine and charged me a grip. The problems just begun. They still didnt fix it and now on my way home my transmission went out. I was thinkin why me,why this, and now. I called a tow truck when the guy showed up and asked what happened I told him transmission problems he said he knows a place thats the cheapest in town and will help me out . I wasnt thinkin to fix it I was just goin to sell it for parts or somethen . After thinkin so hard I called Levco Transmission And Automotive Talked to Jesse and explained where i got his number and what was goin on with my car he said he would like to take a look at it and arranged for a tow truck to take it to his shop . He called me back and told me that its worth keepin and found some wire plugs unpluged and asked how much i wanted to put in to it he said ok and will call me back tomorrow and let me know what he finds . He called and told me some great news it was goin to be cheaper then want i was goin to put in i told him do it and call me when its done. Couple days later he called and said its ready for pick up . I rushed down there and Jesse explained what he did and what he found that the other places didnt and when I test drove it . I didnt even think it was my car it ran so great and smooth better then its ever ran. I knew right there I found a new place for my Automotive Repairs. I got back to the shop and told Jesse i can't believe my cars back on the road and he did good It never ran like this before. Jesse knows what he's doin. Thanks Levco Much Respect

I took my Honda (yes, Honda's sometimes breakdown) into Levco after my engine completely overheated and began smoking. What a disaster. Jesse, the owner diagnosed the problem in a short amount of time and got to work on my radiator right away. He explained why my car overheated, fixed the problem, and guaranteed the work. Did I mention this was on the Weekend?!?! Awesomeness. I was driving back to work on Monday worry free!!! Thank you Jesse!!!! You're a lifesaver!!!

Levco is a great shop to take your vehicle for repairs. I was recommeded to come her by a friend, and then I had a great experience as well. I brought my car in to get the spark plugs replaced. The staff was very friendly and the work was done quickly and with great results. I was offered a very competive price, and appreciated that I was not pressured to get a lot more work done. I was greeted to come back if I needed any more work done and was offered a price match from any other shop. This is a great place to get quality work done in a timely manner for a great price.

An Honest Shop with Excellent Prices and Service



By June 2010, I knew the transmission in my son’s Honda Accord had to be rebuilt. Because my son is a full-time teacher and I am an emeritus professor, I took on the task of getting it repaired. The “going rate” from reputable shops gave me vertigo. During a routine visit for realignment, I asked Pep Boys if it could recommend an honest but more reasonable transmission shop--one that had all the necessary credentials and licensure but which was more affordable. Pep Boys sent me to Levco.



At Levco, I was politely greeted and soon given an estimate that, while certainly competitive with the two estimates I already had, was still more money than my son and I had in our combined budgets. That evening, however, I received a telephone call from Jesse Salinas. He identified himself as the owner. He said that he felt bad that Pep Boys had sent me to Levco, and, in effect, that Levco had turned me away with an estimate that was apparently beyond my means. He quoted another price, asking if I could afford it. It was very, very competitive--more than fair and reasonable. I said, “yes, my son and I could handle that.”



Levco rebuilt the transmission and, at my request, fixed some other problems (air condition, oil leaking from valve covers, two broken engine mounts) at very competitive prices, prices where there was no mark-up on parts. When I stopped by once or twice to see how the “rebuilt” going, Jesse’s men, always courteous, offered me soft drinks and some of the pizza they were having for lunch. I had never seen nicer people at an automotive shop--or, for that matter, anywhere.



In June 2011, I noticed a small leak from the shift shaft seal. I brought the motorcar in. Jesse put it up on the rack; took the shift shaft apart while I stood next to him; found the leaky seal; and, while he was “at it,” checked everything else with the transmission as well as the undercarriage, all while giving me a most valuable tutorial on a number of subjects. There was no charge because the work was under warranty.



In sum, I give Levco the highest rating possible: It is an honest shop with fair prices and excellent service.

I was searching craigslist for a reliable place to go to get my car repaired and stumbled upon Levco Transmission in Sparks Nevada. A very kind man by the name of Jesse took my initial call. He listened intently while I explained what my vehicle was doing. I brought it down a few days later and was very pleased with the service I received! Not only were they affordable but they truly cared about keeping my vehicle in great working condition. I felt no stress from up-sales, only quality service! I will definitely return to Levco for all my vehicle needs! Thank you Levco!!!
