Provided by YP.comApria health care are the most unethical people I have ever dealt with. I shopped around for CPAP machines, and they quoted me about $800. They said I could pay over 6 months with no interest, so I did that. I HAVE PAID OVER $1400 FOR THE MACHINE TO DATE!! Everyone else quoted me a CPAP with the humidifier included. They charged me $260 for the humidifier chamber. The CPAP cannot work without the chamber!! Then they called and said that my FREE 6 month supplies were due, and I needed to come get it. I asked if it was really free, and they assured me that it was absolutely free, and that it was covered by my insurance. NOW THEIR BILLING DEPARTMENT IS TELLING ME I OWE THEM AN ADDITIONAL $250!!! When you talk to the billing people, they say talk to the provider. When you talk to the provider (THIS PLACE) they say that there is nothing you can do. THE MOST UNETHICAL GROUP I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH, HANDS DOWN!!!

Provided by YP.comprior to the last year they were not so good but now they are awesome. sorry if you had a bad experience but you have to take some resposibilty. They prob did need a copy of your study as some payors require it tobe submitted in order for them to pay your bill. going in for a mask fitting isnt so bad as your prob been using something outdated. You prob need to calm down and practice a little diplomacy. Not evryone is as smart as you, right? I foung them to be on the ball, not perfect. i get what i need when i need it. they provide great support and education. my conditions have actually improved in the last year strictly beacuse of them. dealing with new insurance can be tough, be patient and provide as much info as you can. give em a chance you'll see.

Provided by YP.comThese people can't find their rear with a map, a flashlight, and a guide. On Oct 5th I faxed them a cover letter with my primary physicians information and the sleep center's information that did my sleep study. Included in that fax was the perscription for my supplies and an invoice from the previous provider. I received a call from someone saying they needed the sleep study and the doctors findings. They told me I would have to come in for a mask fitting. The next day I faxed them the box top for the mask (it's 75 miles one way to go to them). I heard nothing from them. I called on Oct 27th. They had been calling the wrong doctor to get the sleep study and diagnosis. I went to the center that day and they faxed Apria the study and diagnosis. I called back on Oct 31st to find that they did nothing with the information and they could not send the CPAP reisvoir as they didn't know what model machine I have. Too bad they couldn't have told me that on the 5th. In 4 days it will have been a month since I have started this process. I haven't slept for the past 14 days because I can't use my machine as the supplies are worn out. They are going to send the resivoir separately. Tomorrow I will send them the model numbers. I should get two sets of supplies as I have done most of their job. These people are negligent and irresponsible. It's nice to know that in this economy they can afford to compromise a patient's health. If my insurance would contract with someone else I wouldn't use them.
