In Sept. 2013 our business ordered 7 small windows from Sussex County Glass. We were told that they had the window frames for the building we had just purchased (had them for the past 12 years in their shop) We contracted with them in Sept to install the 7 windows.We gave them a check for 50% of the job which was $1170.00 We were told it would take about 2-3 weeks for the windows to come in and then they would do the installation. It is now January 15th 2014. In November we started calling looking for an installation date. The owner - Chett - was so condesending and would not give an answer - just kept saying how busy he was. Kept calling me "dear" and telling me that he is just so busy. We have now called 6 times, have had our CG call him on numberous occasions and even had another glass company call him to ask if he would sell them the frams so they could do our job. They would do the installation within 1 week. He will not even give them an answer. Please - do yourself a favor - DO NOT USE SUSSEX COUNTY GLASS FOR YOUR NEXT PROJECT. The guy is completely unreliable. Ask any local contractor what they think of this guy - they too will tell you horror stories. I have heard from 4 of them already!
