What a pleasant surprise to discover this museum. It is still very much a work in progress, but the depth and breadth of exhibits and the clever and imaginative displays are marvelous. I grew up in Sparta during the great depression and knew the leaders in industry, education, religion, business and the professions. I was fascinated to see their photos and read biographical information. As I did this I was accompanied by relatives from far away who were equally enthralled. The collection is impressive and the displays are clever and imaginative. The curators are deeply interested, happy to talk but not intrusive.
