I have been going to Dr. Jamison for over 34 years. He is the best vet in town. He goes above and beyond when I need help with my pets...He truly loves animals and is a second generation vet.

I must respond to Sherry's rev...

I must respond to Sherry's review of Doc Jamison. It is impossible that Dr Jamison is responsible for her cat's required amputation. He treated both my son's dog and mine for broken legs... and no, we are not abusers. Repairing a broken leg in an animal is not a quick, easy fix, and does require wrapping the the entire leg. Both times he told us we needed to watch the paw to ensure swelling did not create an issue with the bandaging. Animals cannot tell you the bandage is wrapped too tightly, it is up to their human to regularly monitor any progress (lack of or diminishing swelling) or negative issues (increased swelling) the animal is experiencing. If attention is not paid, and excess swelling does occur, circulation can become impeded. Left long enough, tissue death will occur. One of my babies legs did swell to the point that the bandage was too tight, and we had to remove the bandage. Was this Dr. Jamison's fault? No. Damaged tissue tends to swell. Did she lose her leg because of the swelling? No, because I kept an eye on the swelling exactly as Dr. Jamison instructed me. We removed the bandaging and took her back to see Dr. Jamison the next day. He re-wrapped and told us again to keep an eye out for further issues. From the very first, Dr. Jamison instructed us in how to determine good circulation. He gave us the tools we needed to care for our animals. My baby is now back to running and playing. She healed with no further issues from what was a fairly bad break in her back leg. Dr Jamison truly cares about the animals he treats, and is very good at what he does. However, he has absolutely no control over what an animal owner does, or the kind of care and attention they give to their animals after they leave his office.

Worst Vet I know of

I would rate this vet a zero if it was an option..He wrapped a something around my cats leg to tight and caused him to have his leg Amputated and didn't even x-ray the leg before he did anything to it
