Honestly and truly when I saw this add I HAD to comment so ppl would know what they were getting into. I went to this salon when this lady (Robin) first started doing dreds (in a shop called Phase II Bcuz she started doing them on the streets) she was awsome...my dreds lasted no less than 3 wks before they'd even start to look worn and I loved the fact that she didn't charge but $40 ($50 to start). I ended up taking those dreds out (personal reasons) and then decided to get them again, so I looked Robin up. Not @ all suprising to me she had now upgraded to her very own shop (right below Boots and Sonny's) and I started going there and after the 1st twist, I could tell the difference. My dreds were coming undone the 1st day and when I said something abt it she was very nasty to me (like she would fight me). It ended in her (married) boyfriend (Rodney) and my husband almost getting into it, to her actually driving to where I was to fight me, to finally the police was called (by her) bcuz I was sick of her threats and stood up to her and she actually had the nerve to call the police on me like I had drove to her destination to feud. She would actually have phone fights while I was in the chair and argue with ppl abt family issues. It was a total MESS and I honestly dnt understand how this woman could actually attempt to run a business and feel like she can flip on her clients whenever she feel! She is an imbalanced, ticking time bomb and very unpredictable. I advise ppl to RUN the other way and for your own sake...find another braider and/or dred stylist!!! As an adult if you feel like she is worthy of a fair chance, please feel free to give her that opportunity...just dnt say that you weren't warned!!!!!!! (I ONLY gave her that 1 star rating bcuz I HAD to or the site wouldn't let me submit my review)
