My wife and I go here regularly and have always had a good time and the staff is always courteous and helpful. I saw one review that said the facility needed to be updated. I couldn't dissagree more. There's tons of modern bowling alley's but choose this one because it's a little piece of days gone by.

I have been going to Start Lanes in Spartanburg for 2 yrs now and never once have been dissatisfied. My family and I recommend Going there and enjoying time with your children, for a day out or a Birthday Party. The Staff is very polite and considerate to the needs of the patrons. The pizza is very good

I do not understand how a business can survive when the main customer service employees are rude. Even before we get to the front of the line, I can see them treating each and every customer with 'attitude'. I mean, if someone comes in to give them a hard time, I might understand a harsh response, but all these people are here to give them money in exchange for bowling. Do we all deserve to be treated poorly? This was my second visit (spent over $100 each time) and my last.



How difficult is it to find someone polite to say "Welcome to Star Lanes, how can we help you!" instead of :

You people should find something else better to do than bother us, we are doing you a favor, I've quit better jobs than this...



An then there was the tow truck driver (said so on his uniform) standing behind the counter telling us 'if there's a problem we can ask you to leave'. Is he even an employee?
