RIDES is a private non-profit agency established 1976 and is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors consists of a County Supervisor from each of the counties that RIDES serves, as well as a member from Northwest Iowa Planning and Development Corporation. Hours of operation for each community vary. RIDES provides demand response and subscription services within Region 3 of the State of Iowa. Currently RIDES has 60 employees. 15 are full-time, and 45 are part-time employees.
