Do not use K9 kennel club. Lee entrusted our dog to them and they lost her. Found by a neighbor over one mile away.

Terms not as originally quoted, and not explained either on provider's website, or verbally by provider when arrangements and commitment for care is made. Provider is apt to change pick-up drop-off at last minute, and solely of provider's choosing when dog owner is out-of town and powerless to do anything but agree. Then without haven given any up front disclosure at the time provider changed things, after services are completed provider charges an extra day that was caused solely by provider's surprise last minute scheduling changes that provider made to accommodate provider's own personal schedule of shopping, social events, and gym work-outs.



Also, contrary to what is advertised on provider's website, there is no full time assistant present at provider's facility to monitor and help care for the dogs. Provider/owner is the only person present to care for the K9s.



Also, a rock solid hose reel was found busted away from 4 - 3/8"x4" masonry bolts that fastened it to the rear home wall in our back yard, and cracked in 2 along its frame. Laying as I found it on the ground, provider would have had to trip over it to have gotten to our dog's large water pale on the back porch that provider promised she would make sure is re-filled when she dropped our dog off, not to mention used it to do the re-fill. When I asked provider if it was attached or broken off when she arrived at the back porch, provider's reply was as follows:



"No I did not notice that."



When I questioned a little further, pointing out that in order to get to the back porch a person would basically be at risk of tripping over it laying detached in the turf, provider's seemingly unconcerned and arrogant reply was as follows:



"Guess, I am blind! :)"



Be very careful to get full/final price based on agreed to dates & times in writing, and don't trust provider to reliably in terms of pick-up and drop-off dog as originally promised.



For the record, even though provider has yet to provide me with a written itemized invoice (at this point I don't expect to ever receive one), and the fact that I did not agree with the final charge for the extra day, I paid this provider the full amount requested.

The review about the K9 Club being disgusting and feces everywhere is completely untrue. Not sure why this person posted that, but I am the owner of the K9 Club and if it was actually disgusting with feces, then we would not be full all the time. People come to tour the place all the time and they see it for themselves. We post pics on facebook everyday and we don't have poop in the pictures - so where is all this poop? We clean the poop regularly and even use a shovel so that no remnants remain. We're on 4 acres...we limit the # of dogs boarding and for daycare and we live there - so no, we don't have disgusting place for your dog to stay. Otherwise, we wouldn't want to live here and we would be out of business. Yikes! Internet review scare me.

Never take your dog there if you care about it, its disgusting, not clean, feces everywhere!

my dog, Bear, is exhausted when he comes home from here! He can't wait to get out of the truck when we pull in. My wife and I leave him when we go out of town or when the in-laws come to visit (allegedly allergic).....he gets some much needed excercise, plus, the staff there is knowledgeable and friendly!
