Former customer of five years.



1st mistake- Local phone service price going up and that's without long distance coverage (avg cost with no call waiting, non-published service and called id was running me $37- $42 a month)



2nd mistake-I replaced numerous phones in apartment in order to prevent cross phone lining. There would be hours at a time where I could here two other people on the line talking and they didn't know I could hear every word they would saying. I had the phone line tested and Qwest say that it was my phone every time. I spent a couple of hundred dollars in phones to try to correct the problem.



3rd mistake-I changed my phone number because bill collectors kept calling for Smiths. So I changed it again; charged another 10 dollars to change it and got collection agencies calling for Johnsons on the new number.



4th mistake-I changed jobs in these five years a couple of times. They were unhappy sometimes that I couldn't pay on time and were always irritated that I couldn't afford fancy bundled services and cell phones. I finally told them that I had a really low income job and they finally stopped soliciting for more services. They also tied up my lines when I told them that employers were trying to contact me and I wouldn't have a job any sooner if they kept tying up the phone lines. I have never been more than a month delinquent with paying Qwest and I usually paid a month in advance when employed.



5th mistake-mysterious long distance charges were popping up on my bill when I had told them that I don't use long distance. I blocked long distance numerous times and still had charges on my bill.



So I don't recommend Qwest Phone Services.

After numerous problems with customer service and sales we found a new company. Qwest needs to focus more on their customers and what they want and need.
