Provided by YP.comI brought both of my dogs here for two years. Over the course of doing so, we realized that our dogs were frequently becoming ill from staying at K9, including giardia, skin and eye infections. This, however, was something we considered to be an annoyance but a potential risk of boarding.
Our experience changed when one of our dogs returned with 4-5 bite marks on her back, tail, side and neck, all of them had teeth that had broken the skin. Our dog was shy, scared, and avoided our touch - we even thought her tail was broken. It appears as though she was attacked or in some kind of fight, but K9 did not report this to us nor were they aware when we'd informed them. After this experience we called K9 and requested that the balance of our prepaid pay days be refunded due to our experience - note we only wanted our unused days to be refunded, nothing special.
We were informed by a manager that Nick, the owner, has a policy of no refunds, and that he believes if you don't use the play days, that's your problem. While I understand the position under normal circumstances, I substantially disagree when the culmination of many K9 visits is a follow up veterinary bill.
I would not recommend K9. It appears this business is more concerned about the appearance of their business and the financial income than in providing quality care. I will update this review if the situation changes.

Provided by YP.comI’ve been reading through the reviews and can’t help but wonder if the negative reviwers have confused K9 Country Club with another facility.
I have had nothing but exceptional service from K9 Country Club located in Spokane Valley. My two dogs spent two weeks in their board and train program. Prior to their extended stay, they were terrorizing my cats, barking uncontrollably and had poor manners. The change in their behavior upon their return has been nothing short of remarkable. I now have two dogs that actually listen and do as they are told. They are a pleasure to be around.
The K9 trainers also taught me a thing or two. I have learned how to communicate clearly and give my dogs the direction they need (and crave). It’s my responsibility to work with my dogs daily and protect my investment. It’s easy to do now that I have the tools and I only have K9 to thank for that.
