Provided by YP.comThis was the management company for the house we rented on Russell St in Airway Heights. The staff in the office was ok, but not the property manager, Wendy. In each encounter with her after our move in, she was unpleasant, rude, and confrontational. For example, where a friendly reminder to cut the grass would be appropriate, we received instead a nasty note and threats that we would be charged for a landscaping crew to be hired if it was not done immediately (this was the first notice, not a repeat violation). She had my wife in tears on one occasion who was then afraid to answer the door if Wendy was there. I strongly recommend against renting a property from this company if Wendy will be your property manager, but I have nothing negative to say about them otherwise.

I have rented from Moland off and on for 13 years now. A year ago I needed to move and unfortunately Moland had nothing available. I ended up renting with different company that had a decent reputation, but after less than a year was so unhappy I called Kim at Moland and asked what they might have available!! Glad I did!! I am back with Moland and love knowing that if I have any concerns or problems they will be handled ASAP! The whole office at Moland is awesome and always professional and friendly and helpful. Thanks Moland!! As far as I am concerned there is nobody better!

My wife and I have had Kim Meredith manage our property since 2007 and we've been extremely happy with her work. She is fair with tenants and property owners alike. She has kept us aware of anything needing attention and for this we are very grateful. We wish she could manage our property in another area because it is next to impossible to find another Kim.Thank you Kim!Chris AbdillaLaurie Engelstad

My experience with Molland Management was awful. My wife and I were longtime tenants at one of their properties. We are a poor family of three and like a lot of people we do what we have to do to make ends meet. After 4 years of good rental history it came time to renew our lease. This time there was a rent increase. I called Molland to let them know we would be renewing our lease but that this was the absolute edge of our budget, something I felt was important for them to know. Not even two month after we signed our renewal we got a notice from Molland that said our rent would be an additional $50 a month for a new sewer charge and that according to our original lease we agreed to pay any future sewer charges that may arise. I called Molland to try and work something out as we had just signed a one year renewal and this sewer charge would break our budget. I was told by Molland not to pay the sewer for now and too look for a cheaper place, giving me the impression they were going to help us out. Two months later I found a cheaper place and when I informed Molland of this they said I would be paying all the rent for the months that the unit was vacant plus any repairs. I was very displeased but had not legal recourse so I asked for an opportunity to make payments to Molland because I did not want to deal with a collection agency. I was told no problem they will call me when they had our final bill. Four months later the house was finally rented out and the final bill was mailed to our old address. Because my mail forward had expired I did not receive that notice. I was contacted by phone but it was the collection agency that called not Molland. I made one final call to Molland and asked them to take it out of collections. I was told no by the property manager and that I should be âkissing her feetâ for not adding in the sewer charges. The way this was handled reveals a lot about the culture and moral compass of this company. I think Molland engages in disingenuous business practices and operates within the best interest of its property owners, not their tenants. My family, on the other hand, worked in good faith with Molland the entire time. I renewed the lease and made Molland aware that this was all I could afford. When the sewer problem arose they told me what I wanted to hear until it was time to take action. I feel like they bullied me out and then refuse to help my family with the bill leaving us in a near destitute situation. Needless to say, we are now worse off than if we would have just paid the additional sewer charges. I now work two jobs and rarely see my wife and three year old daughter to prevent being sued by the collection agency who demands outrages monthly payments. My familyâs financial goals, upward mobility and overall sense of security have been set back several years and to sum up Mollandâs attitude about the situation THEY DONâT CARE!

Kim MeredithKim MeredithHi Christine - This indeed was a HORRIBLE situation & we were certainly extremely dissapointed with the property owner & felt/feel terrible for how this all turned out! I wish we had another home that would have suited your needs, but just didn't. I (Kim) was responsible for the property, and had a relationship with the property owner - Dawn did me a favor by showing you the property as it was near her home. After your husband brought your application & deposit monies to our office, we sent your application to the screening company for it to be processed- the screening process typically takes about 48 hours. As soon as we got approval from the screening company, I called you to let you know and to find out the exact date of your desired move in. After our conversation, I called the property owner to let him know that we had rented his home, & was informed that he was allowing a friend to move into the property... It was as if the sky fell. I was not at all happy, voiced my extreme displeasure, and asked why I hadn't been told - I was told he had been very busy & was going to call me. We immediately sent back your deposit check, and subsequently had the property owner reimburse your application fee. Again, as before, we are so very, very sorry. We will not be available to manage that home in the future.

We've been renters for a long time and have had some really terrible management companies to deal with (they shall remain nameless right now). We have never had one single problem with Moland. Whenever we call with a problem with our home, there is a repair person here within 24 hours, no exception. Whenever we call with a question, we always get a response immediately or by the end of the day at the latest. We were late with our rent once and we called the office to notify them of our predicament, they were very understanding and patient and didn't charge us a late fee. They are the best management company we have ever had dealings with, we are sad to be moving but have to move out of state.

MOLAND MANAGEMENT ARE SCAM ARTISTS! This past Monday 4-5-10, Dawn showed us a house. Very enthusiastic, great house, etc. etc. and are you ready to put down a deposit? My husband and I did like the house. We discussed it, had a few houses left to see and told her we'd get back to her tomorrow. Well, Dawn called us before we could call her. All fine and dandy. So my husband goes over on Tuesday to drop off a $400 check for half the deposit and a $40 check for the application fee. We hear nothing from them on Wednesday. We get a call today, Thursday, Oh, I am sorry but the owner of the house has already rented it out this past weekend and the people are on there way from Salem, Oregon with the moving truck. This call was from Kim. We never have heard from Dawn again. So, now they have our money and we have no house! Believe me! that we are canceling that check. Please beware of this company.
