Provided by YP.comI would never come back here--though to be fair, this incident happened many years ago. My beloved 11 yr old cat got liver disease--I tried everything to save him. The day came when it was clear he was extremely ill, would not recover, and needed to be put to sleep, so I made that dreaded trip to their clinic. They were just okay on the empathy. I sobbed when he died, and afterwards I couldn't bear to watch his body stiffen in death. They told me I could leave his body for 30 days. I called to pick him up 5 days before that date--and they had discarded his body!! Without calling me--nothing. NO apology, nothing. To this day I will always tell people not to go to Spokane Valley Animal Hospital. No way.

I used to take my Dogs/Cats to Spokane Valley Animal Hospital, I have nothing but the best to say about the Vets: especially Dr. Codr. He was fantastic! He never made me feel rushed and always explained in great detail any procedure my pets had to receive. He was always gentle and spoke to my animals in a calm and soothing manner to make them feel more at ease.My animals never were scared to go there..... That is until one time my dog had to be taken to the back.... the front staff Dragged my poor dog to the back door then proceeded to pick her up underneath her two front legs (she did not support her back end) and had her dangling and kicking the rest of the way back!! Needless to say I was more than appalled. My dog only weighs in at 30lbs!! The poor pup was twisting and crying the whole way down the hall!!! After that, my dog became extremely fearful of going there. I ended up visiting several different places and thank God I have found two wonderful places that all persons working for the Vet clinic including the front staff treat my animals with the kindness and dignity that they deserve. When the need to pick her up as well as my other dogs they gently speak to her and off she goes trotting happily along. Not once have any of the staff members have to drag my dog to the back.It is truly a shame that the Vets are unaware of how the front desk has some truly uncaring staff. The evening staff I must say was so kind and caring, but unfortunately a couple of bad apples had such a negative impact that I will NEVER take my animals there again.ãOn a side note the Groomers are fantastic, these gals have been wonderful with my dogs and take such good care of them. I have literally recommended them to several people throughout the years and will continue to do so.

have great dane show dogs see them at www.bellavistadanes.com I have been very please with the services Spokane Valley Animal Hospital provided. I have found Dr. Stokes and her colleagues to be professional and to have a solid knowledge base. They've been very fair with pricing for services. Another individual who reviewed this business called them young wannabe's or something of that nature....that's very ignorant. These folks have put in there time obtaining the DVM and because they are not to far out from graduation are likely to be at the top of their game with the most recent recommendations for standard of care. My dogs like the office space and the staff and to me, that's how I assess bedside manor. I'll be continuing to take my dogs there. Also, if you need a nice short crop for a boxer or dobbie, they have a vet there that does a nice job. I've seen his short crops.

We've been taking our two cats to Spokane Valley Animal Hospital since they were kittens 16 years ago. Dr. Codr has been the vet we have worked with most over the years. It is a testament to the great care our cats have received that one of our cats could live for an almost unbelievable 12 years after developing diabetes at age four. Recently, we had to have our diabetic cat, Lucy, put down. The care and compassion shown by the entire staff was heartwarming. Dr. Blumenstein worked with us at the end of Lucy's life, and helped us decide when it was time to let her go. We have nothing but good things to say about Spokane Valley Animal Hospital.

I have taken my Maltese dog to this groomer as long as I have had him as a puppy. She is so good with him, I know he is a basket case when being groomed, I've tried to do him myself a time or two. She lets the dog (or cat) know she is in control of the situation and there is no reason to be panicy. She does so firmly but lovingly. I will never take my precious dog to anyone else to be groomed!!! Sure, there have been rare times when both ears are not quite even, but. hey, when is the last time you have tried to groom someone else's dog? It isn't the easiest job in the world! Five stars for this groomer!!!

Recently I had a cat who became suddenly very ill. My routine Vet couldn't fit him in so I took him here. They were very caring and compassionate. Their prices were reasonable and the vet was very willing to discuss options with me. I will go to them for all my vet needs from now on.

The groomer is completely incompetent, the staff is horribly rude. I took my six pound dog in for a bath and a haircut. They charged me $28! to bathe a six pound dog and butcher him so bad he doesn't even look like a chihuahua anymore. When I told them I was dissatisfied, the groomer called and left a nasty message on my voice mail. Very unprofessional. Find a different groomer.
