We were hoping to transform our yard into a quick get away. Someplace special just outside the door. A waterfall with a stream to the pond, with a few Alpine firs along the way did just that. The fire pit and night lighting complete the resort like feel. The process is amazing….. Professional. You can tell they have done this 1,000 times, but it is pretty cool to watch it happen the first time. The design process is the key time to perfect what you want, and they did a great job adding our few changes with their great artistic vision. Their online pictures in their web site say it all. You can tell the crews are experienced, work hard and are very skilled. They earn their Better Business Bureau A+ rating. The best part is the get away feeling happens every time we look out our windows. Stunning, still, especially when the night lights come on. You will feel pampered, like a 5 star resort, and your friends and family will remind you how blessed you are when they visit.

I've worked with Alderwood numerous times over the last decade and couldn't be happier with the process and the results. You won't believe the changes they can make that will make it seem like you have a whole new house, truly a five star resort in your backyard. They were very upfront about budget and cost savings and still managed to turn our yard into a fun place for my children. Through their design process we were able to picture the changes that we could make and learn how and where to spend our money to have the greatest effect. They have also stood behind their work by coming back out to rearrange sprinklers and even replace a tree that wasn't their fault. Trust them to do a great job for you and to stand behind their work.

We asked Alderwood Landscaping for a design that would add curb appeal to our home at Diamond Lake. The old appearance was plain and did not appear attractive. The Landscape Architect visited our setting and took a long time to make measurements and such. I really did not expect the detailed, even artful rendering that we received a short time later. The design ideas they incorporated - an arbor at the entrance, inviting sidewalk design and careful placement of bushes and trees made our dowdy old place look new and inviting. Prior to this experience, I had no idea that landscape design could perform such a makeover. We would definitely use Alderwood landscaping on future projects. The work was not inexpensive but it was extremely professional and in fact, overwhelmed us.

We contacted Alderwood Landscaping after looking at other companies in the area. We were impressed with their portfolio and recommendations from past clients. We were pleased with the company from start to finish. Every interaction we had with Mike and Kris was professional. We had our backyard redesigned to include a sunken garden with raised beds, and new plantings and features throughout our yard. My experience with them was not pleasant. Everything LOOKS good on paper, but Alderwood is a BAD company! After Fighting to get what I payed for, my interpretation of the company is rather poor. Id think for the price id get what i expect, yet alderwood let me down and it wasnt a fluke! I looked into the owners personal history, as I was preparing for a lawsuit against them. He is a terrible person and business owner! DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!! HIRE A LOCAL ARTISAN!! NOT A SCAM COMPANY WHERE YOU'LL PAY FOR ARROGANCE AND OVERHEAD

This can be a total scam - they will charge you for preliminary plans and then continue to charge you without ever completing the project. DON'T EVEN LET THEM THROUGH THE DOOR.
