Provided by YPmobileI've been going to America's Best Contacts for over 12 years and I've been treated with total respect everytime I would go in. I only have a couple gripes. About 5 years ago I went in and had my examination and then they told me to pick out my new frames which after much thought I picked our two different styles for my frames. The optometrist insisted that I get two lenses that were plastic in nature I insisted that I wanted one lenses that was glass because of the nature of me having to work outside with blowing material all day long. He agreed that I could get what I wanted but after waiting 2 weeks my new glasses arrived both glasses had plastic lenses. After talking to the manager at the Spokane location and getting the runaround my lawyer contacted corporate headquarters and insisting that if they didn't fix my problem he would initiate a federal class action lawsuit. Lets just say that my lawyers threat got me two new pair of glasses from a different location in Lynnwood Washington. I wanted to change my ratings to two from three and it wouldn't let me do that.

Provided by YP.comNot the best experience overall, but my expectations were fairly low to begin with. In my case, I went in specifically to get glasses to wear over my contact lenses (for reading). They said no problem, went through the process for an eye exam (with my existing contacts) that was advertised as free with the two pair for $69.95 special, picked out a couple of pair of frames and paid my money. When I picked up the glasses and tried them out, they were not in focus at the correct reading distance. The technician, Ellie, told me that she would have to talk to the doctor the next day to see what needed to be done to correct them. She called me the next day and said that as I did not have a current contact lens prescription, that I would have to have a contact lens examination before they would do any additional work to fix the glasses. I told her at this point that that was not the agreement we had when I paid for the glasses and if that was their only option for correcting the glasses, that I would want to return them for a refund. She said that she had to speak to the doctor and then after a few minutes on hold, she came back on and said to bring them back. Today (5/11/13), I returned to bring the glasses back and get a refund and was told by the store manager, Laura, that they would only refund the difference after the cost of the eye exam was considered. This is ridiculously poor service. I can understand if you just don't like the glasses and were returning them, but when they are unable to provide the product that they sold you under the original terms, they should refund the entire amount. The store manager Laura was nice, but not helpful in resolving the issue. The entire experience with them feels more and more like buying something from a shady used car dealer.
