Bad customer service. I bought a washer and dryer from there a few years ago, from the ding and dent center., I paid extra for the warranty and didn't use it., they said I could get reimbursed for not using it, and they said they "couldn't find me their system." : (

Rude staff. Extremely rude, get lots of attitude from the salesmen. Also, they are very pushy and dishonest- they do not tell you all sales are final. But call them and all of a sudden, they are rude and will not do it.

Lousy Service

Horrible service...bought a washer from them and it has broke down 4 times in two years. Each time it has taken a week to a month to have it fixed so why did I buy an extended warranty? So I could get my machine fixed in a timely manner!

very poor customer service

Fred’s has delivered remarkably poor customer service. We purchased a stove which required a metal piece to "fill-in" a gap between our backsplash and the stove. The salesman assured us they had a piece that would work based on our specifications (this had been a big problem in finding a stove that would work with our counters). We bought our stove and waited for this part . . . and kept waiting. I made multiple visits to the store and heard plenty of excuses as to why it wasn’t there yet. Finally, it showed up and, sadly, it was the wrong piece. Fred’s said they could order another “custom” piece to fix this problem. But again, silence – no one ever called me with an update or anything. I finally went back in to Fred’s and for whatever reason this second “custom” piece just never was made, never ordered, just not sure. Now I'm being told "tough luck" and that I need to find my own piece . . . even though they sold me a stove and said they had the proper piece at that time. I'll be out an additional $75 (at least) to have a sheet metal company come out and take measurements. I asked Fred’s to simply cover this additional cost and do you think they did? Absolutely not! They said an issue with an ancillary piece like this wasn’t really their fault and the sales manager even seemed to blame me for how we had the counter’s built (never mind we didn’t have the house built)! I spent over $2,000 on a stove and they won’t spend $75 to make good with what their salesmen told us? Really? This whole process has been a disaster. After the sale no one at Fred’s really seemed to care about helping us. Really bad customer service. I WILL NOT return to Fred’s.

Don't Bother with Fred's

Went into their ding and dent store thinking I would get a good deal and support a local business, and left with dented washer that I saw brand new at Costco the next day for the same exact price. I called them about it and got more attitude. The staff is slick, pushy, and apperas to lack integrity. Don't waste your time or money with this place, I'm sorry I did. A better name would be Fraud's Appliance.

Disaster

Horrible customer service: lack of integrity, lack of product knowledge, lack of knowledge on product distribution and lack of communication with product area managers. I am sorry to have done business with this company. Wise up Fred's Appliance, customers are people who keep you in business and pay your salaries.
