Spokane International Airport is a 4,800-acre commercial service airport. The airport is served by more than 10 airlines and over three air cargo carriers. These include DHL Express, Menlo Worldwide Forwarding, Federal Express, United Parcel Services, Alaska, America West, Big Sky, Delta, Frontier, Horizon, Northwest, Skywest, and Southwest airlines. One of the largest airports in Washington, it has received recognition from the Federal Aviation Administration. Also called as GEG, the airport offers north shuttle, concourse and outside parking, economy parking lots, covered garages, and continuous shuttle services. Its ground transportation center provides rental car plans through various agencies, such as Avis, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Thrifty, Wheatland Express, Stars and Stripes, and Payless Airport Shuttle. Located in Spokane, Wash., the airport offers bus services in cooperation with the Spokane Transit Authority.
