Regarding the question about warranty work that I discussed below...Stay tuned to this ongoing effort to have repairs done to the roof. For those people who might be interested, I will post updates about the progress toward getting this warranty work done. So far, there has been one call back from the guy that went up in the attic while the realtor was there and could not find the leak that we have pictures of. He had a bit of an attitude and openly admitted that. He said we need to show him where the leak is! Good grief...he is the roofer, not me. I asked him to come back out and go up in the attic while I will run a hose on the roof so that he can find it. Seems like he should have tried that method the first time he came out if he really wanted to find the leak. Hopefully we just got off on a bad foot and this will all be resolved soon.

Original paperwork and conversations on the phone represent them as having a "10 year workmanship warranty" I asked the lady on the phone for a copy of the warranty and she said it is just the line on the contract that said "All work is backed by our 10-year workmanship warranty in addition to the manufacturer warranty." There is nothing spelled out in any other document. Fine... except when you ask for the leaking roof to be looked at after 5 years, the roofer cannot seem to find the leak even though we have photographs of it. I guess a warranty doesn't matter much if the crew pretends there are no repairs needed, and the rain dripping in my attic is just "from a leak prior to them installing the roof 5 years ago".

I have waited forever to get my window fixed , they give you the most odd ball time frames and when they do show up the work sucks. They finally came to fix window the day after it began to crack and guess what it is still cracked. I have called to let them know every time I call they say they will call back and never do. The lady who answers the phone puts you on hold multiple times only to tell you her installer is on vacation. I call back and ask the same question when will you come correct your work, hold please, he just walked in he said he would order it today but wait I asked you told me he was out of town on vacation and he just walked in. Oh I meant off for weekend ok today is Wednesday I called Mondays which one is it. Finally you ask for your money back she says I can have someone call you with a time to come fix it today is July 23 she gave me a time to fix it on August 16. I still ask for my money back she has to find your file I said you just had it because you just told me what the original work order said. Dont waste your time.

We had bids from lots of companies and Shane with Specialty gave us the best bid and materials. Some tried to cut corners with material and come in lower. Very well organized and good crew. Excellent work on both the siding and roof.
