The Spokane County Information Systems Department works to deliver business services that empower, support and serve other county departments. The department provides support for the planning, design, implementation and operation of information technologies and methodologies to over 50 departments and public service organizations. It provides technical leadership and expertise to manage networks and computer systems, as well as coordinates and provides planning, education, services and tools. The Spokane County Information Systems Department maintains a technical services division that provides network, communication, database, hardware, desktop, telephone and videoconferencing support services. Located in Spokane, Wash., it also has administration, geographic information system services, and application and programming services divisions.
