The people at St. Stephens are very friendly and welcoming. I enjoy the adult education classes and Fr. John's sermons have been top notch. St. Stephens host various activities throughout the year that include not only the parish family, but invite the community to join. The church has recently undergone some great changes and more are to come. The members gave resounding approval to incorporating some green, environmentally-friendly aspects to the upcoming construction. EVERYONE is welcome at St. Stephens, so join us.

We have been members of St. Stephen's since 1964 and cannot imagine belonging anywhere else. It is a caring community where everyone is welcome and made to feel that way. It is like a "home" away from home, in that everyone is genuinely concerned about everyone else, and there to support them and help them in time of need.######Although there are many "veterans" like us with grey hair, who've been there for a long time, there is a refreshing and youthful exuberance in the place, with members of all ages and their children all interacting.######The recent remodeling and other sanctuary improvements add greatly to the experience of being there, with a further construction project to be under way this Spring.######This is a church that is reaching out to the community, as evidenced by its summer Basketball camp and the Children's Choir that it hosts.######Try it! You'll like it! Hope to see you there.

We found this church on the South Hill in December 2005. The Rev. John Shepard is a fantastic communicator who can take our weekly lessons and apply them to our everyday lives. ######There is something for everyone at St. Stephen's; Adults, Teens, Kids and Seniors.######The annual Basketball Camp and Wine Tasting & Auction are just some of the events that draw people from all over.######We especially enjoy the Adult Education. One of the latest Adult Education classes was tag lined +We take the Bible seriously not literally.+ My kind of learning!######The congregation is not too large that you are lost in shuffle, and we were made to feel at home right away. The people are friendly and when they say, "Peace be with you." they really mean it.######I highly recommend St. Stephen's for spiritual growth, to make new lasting friends, and to get involved in the community.######St. Stephen's - A Church with no boundaries, building God's kingdom, one soul at a time.######Hope to see you i
