Travis Pattern & Foundry
1413 E Hawthorne Rd, Spokane, WA 99218
Founded in 1922 by Paul N. Travis, Travis Pattern and Foundry began as a small business producing patterns for sand casting. As the company grew, nonferrous foundry operations were added and industrial castings became a major part of the business.
To provide a superlative product for such a large array of industries demands a level of performance that exceeds customer expectations. To accomplish this we have implemented quality assessment procedures into the manufacturing processes from conception to completion.
Common practices include; first article reports (physical measurements and properties), digital go-no go fixtures, X-ray analysis, and three stage alloy analysis (spectrograph).
Our design cycle is defined as follows:
1.Conception
2.Prototype
3.Tooling
4.Mold
5.Casting
6.Shake Out
7.Saw
8.Grind
9.Heat Treat
10.Wheelabrate
