Spotsylvania Animal Hospital was established at their present location in 1981. At that time, we served both farm animals, domestic pets, exotics and wildlife. Gradually over time the farm animal side of the practice disappeared. Our dedicated veterinarians now see domestic pets, exotics, pet farm animals and a few wildlife. We are located near the Spotsylvania Courthouse. We serve Spotsylvania, Culpepper, Orange, Stafford, Louisa counties, and Fredricksburg city. Our main goal is to provide affectionate care, and treat your pets as if they were our own. The veterinarian hospital works with Spotsylvania Animal Control providing aid to abused cases. We appear in court when needed to testify. We are also very proud of the fact that we provide the veterinary care for the Spotsylvania Sheriff's police dogs. We also work with a few wildlife rehabilitators. Another service we provide the community is visiting schools and giving seminars on veterinary medicine and the variety of jobs in the field. We also go to child care facilities and take animals the children would enjoy interacting with.
