Great doctor and staff. Dr. Higgins really knows his stuff! I highly recommend him.

My husband was experiencing a lot of pain due to trigger finger on both hands. We were afraid surgery might be necessary, but Dr. Higgins recognized the problem right away. The injections were painful, but the result was immediate.

I was not impressed as this was my first visit to Dr. Higgins, his bedside manors fell short to what I was use to. While checking out I was told the shot cost $1.79 which I thought was odd, then she told me she made a mistake and that it was $28.00 something, now I just got a call and they said the price was wrong again, and that it would be $68.54 for each injection, and thats four more times. I have had an injection in my other knee which was a one time injection just a stronger dose, when I was in Tenn. the doctor explained everything before and while he was injecting my knee. And also what I should be feeling after the injection. Doctor Higgins basically said nothing, I had to continue to ask questions as to know what my limitations would be. I was told the end result would be a total knee replacement, I asked if there were other options and it was basically no! Which I went home and started doing some research finding there are other options to a total knee replacement that are non-surgical.
Also when I was checking out I asked if I could schedule another appointment for both elbows to hands going numb, she asked which one did I want to make an appointment for, I said both elbows and hands, she told me they only do one thing at a time, I said it might be stemming from my neck surgery I had done in the past, then they wanted for me to get all the records from my past doctors which I understood, but I was blown away when she told me they only look at one part at a time. I think this is how they make money. Instead of taking the person as a whole issue, they do one thing at a time. This was a totally different experience which I am not use to nor am I pleased with. I won't be going back, next time I will do more research on the Doctors before I make an appointment.
