I got involved with this company through the Fl Weatherization Assistance Program.
Since having work done on the air conditioner unit, I have had problems with having no heat. This company did not return phone calls, show up for scheduled appointments, or call when they were not going to show up. My family and I went days without heat tempters were in the 30's-40's with no heat for days. This has gone on for months from Nov.2010-Jan. 2011. I even had to find parts for my own unit due to Power Cooling not being able to locate the parts. It took me all of one phone call and the parts were found and I know nothing about air conditioning and heating. The next time we had no heat Power cooling was too busy to come out to look at the unit until 3:45 the next day. (Friday) We were told we would have to wait until Tuesday until the part could be fixed a fan motor. On Saturday we had a friend come look at our unit and he found 2 loose wires and we had heat and have not had a problem since. What is Power Cooling trying to do get money out of people that don’t have money to fix a unit that they were paid to fix by the Fl Weatherization Assistance Program.
If you are looking for a reliable service company I’m not sure this would be my first choice.

I had this contractor assigned through the Weatherizatiin program as well. When the air was being changed out it was actually working barely but working. It was the middle of July and he removed the back unit then left it out of commission for a week and a half. I had to call him every day and then he would tell me that he would be there the next day. I had to take my family and pets to our camper and sleep it was so hot. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I now have a problem with the air conditioning 4 years later and he is making excuses not to come . I had another company come and diagnose the problem and while the parts would be covered it is not worth the 140.00 an hour service charge he is going to charge. Stay far away from this guy!!!!! The owner is Ferdinal Austin and do not be taken by his religious blessings either. He is not looking out for your best interests.

I am a contractor myself my client who lost my contact information got a hold of this company through his brother who had been doing work for. This company came out and while he was there and air conditioner broke he repaired it and then the cooler broke he repaired that 2 days later he comes back and the air conditioning he said needed to be cleaned while he was cleaning it it stopped working he said it needed a new compressor and a new air handler they sold this client a used air handler and a new Goodman condenser which was an r410 condenser on an R22 air handler for $2,800 gave him a warranty 3 months later the compressor has failed they will not return the calls I contacted them to see if they could just get the compressor replaced under warranty they said no and hung up after I realized that they mixed a 410A condenser with an old R-22 air handler I realize then there is no warranty on other equipment this company also Jerry Riggs his brothers equipment and he - had multiple system failures during the span of only a few months they both spent thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars and finally the brother told him to get off the property or he was calling the sheriff it is a shame that people treat other people in this manner I would not recommend this company to anyone in fact I would recommend that you stay as far away from this company as possible they have no couth no integrity and not a single ounce of care for anyone else other than their pocket-book

Let me tell you.. They are very good people; whom of course are very busy. They came and cleaned and serviced my AC unit, Did a FANTASTIC job!!!

I have no compliants what so ever.

Saturday my AC quit working, I didn't think of calling because of the holiday weekend. Was told I should have. Fernado is totally my HERO. He was able to figure out right away, power was not getting to Unit the Curcuit breaker to the outside unit had gone bad. So he was able to do something to get it up and going; he will be back here on Saturday to put new unit in.

When he came first time he came with two workers who insulated air flow grates and all. Very personable. Anthony, and Carol.

Tonight Fernado, and Carol came together, they said they would be here around 830 p.m. And they arrived on time things were fixed within a half hous time. I am enjoying the cool air again. I will continue to use this company. As I desire to work with someone who is going to be open and honest about things....!!!!
