Provided by YP.comI have been here twice. Both times the service was horrid. Slow response time, even when there were 5 people in the entire establishment. The worse part, each time I have eaten here I went home feeling sick and promptly vomited. Let's best honest, one time, not feeling well, no problem. Probably not the meal. But 2 out of 2, let alone the other reports of a similar cases on here, something is really wrong with their food safety.

Provided by YPmobileI know I can take my family here whenever to enjoy a great meal. Friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. Always televising all the sports that are going on. Along with great prices, and great food. Happy to see this place has lasted unlike others at this location. Keep it up!

Provided by YP.comWanted to love it as it is only sports pub close to home. $1 beers and Buzztime trivia! However, after over 20 visits, we've tried everything on the menu and nothing is appealing to us. Almost everything is fried, greasy, and/or gross. Salads purporting to be 'mixed greens' or 'Romaine'? Don't believe it - all you get is (ugh) iceberg. The burgers and chicken wings are passable. Nothing healthy or tasty. Such a shame.
BUT... that seems to be standard fare for the crowd, as the place is usually quite busy (after two prior restaurant failures at this location). The service is great and the owners seem really nice. Come to drink and play or watch the many sports screens. But we'll eat somewhere else.

Provided by YPmobileWorst customer service ever. Walked up to the table rather than saying hello. Let is know there was a $15 minimum PER PERSON. I was like "so $30 minimum for table, like if I get, food appetizer and two meals we split a pitcher?" Fat lady says no... wait... i dont understand... Dumb rude and horrible customer service. Food always comes out cold or makes you sick.

Provided by YP.comI have been here twice. The first time was not great but not horrible. The worst part was when the manager was in the rest room which was out of soap and said hi to me and left. The second trip was horrible. I had to actualy point out to them that what they were trying to do was not sanitary and should not be done. Customer service was average at best and everything else was terrible. I left without even eating on the second trip. This place should just close.

Provided by YP.comWhat is really a shame is the snotty reply by the owner. Instead of saying they're sorry the customer had a bad experience they cop an attitutude about it.
Do they realize they run a business? That people are going to make good and bad comments? And you don't act like someone insulted your grandmother....LOL.
Haven't tried it yet, but I get the feeling it is run by your typical NY Italianos that think they're better than everyone else.
BTW, Anitas lasted less than a year, the Maryland Crab House shut down before them, not the best location.
I don't think the posters who were critical did anything wrong, the proper response and the SMART response would have been to apologize to the customer and not act like a 12 yr old girl.
Besides your only a stones throw from Beef O'Brady, you're hidden behind another shopping center, but the bottom line NEVER insult your customers.
By that reply I believe everything that has been written.

Provided by YP.comI have nothing but great things to say about Rookies. I live right around the corner, and dine at this establishment alot! The managers are great, the food is excellent (especially the burgers), and the staff is always warm and welcoming. There is always some kind of event going on, and the bar is alot of fun. I can't wait for the fall again, I look forward to spening my Sundays at Rookies watching football. Great beer prices, and a great crowd to watch the game with!

Provided by YP.comTerrible service and no one seems to care. Two visits and all about the same: Apps and main course rang and brought out together after 30 minutes. Asked for swiss but got american on my Philly and never once got a refill, frence onion soup was cold. The owners/managers run around the place like look at me Im so important, Im an owner. If your lucky you can actually go out and watch the owners/management smoke with the servers and hear them complain about the place. I left a .39 tip and was in such a hurry to leave I left my credit card. Upon returning two hours later to retrieve my card and since I left such a horrible tip you would think someone from Management would ask me how my experience was. Well of course not, they were too busy being important. I know they might have been successful at other ventures but they fail miserably at Rookies. Rookies, a great name for a restaurant but too bad it also appears to be a perfect description of the owners/management. Restaurant 101 -Take care of the customers!!!!!
It is really sad when someone thinks they know people and then trash them publically on the internet! We treat every customer with respect & kindness and cater to there every need. Its funny because I can remember every concern a customer has made because we are very attentive to our customers needs but can't remember you!! As an owner of the establishment it is very sad when you talk about peoples characters when you know nothing about them!! There is the saying if you having nothing nice to say then don't say it all..

Provided by YP.comWe were really happy about a new sports bar and grill coming into the neighborhood. Unfortunately, We will never go back. We gave this place a chance and tried it out 3 different times and everytime we had bad service and the food was terrible. Lip stick on my coffee cup and dirty silverware. That was it. I'm disgusted with this place and will never go back.

Provided by YP.comI really want to give a good review but refuse to lie to people. My wife threw up for 2 days after eating their food and the glass had lip marks on it from a previous customer, silverware had stuck on lettuce or something, and beer was flat. Service was definitely great though.
