I purchased a King Bliss Mattress (the most expensive set) and Box Spring from Tennessee Bad Barn aka Spring Hill Mattress Company. It was to be delivered to the new house we just built. I was given the date the driver would come, but not a time. I called at 8pm when I had not seen the driver. He did end up coming – just super late. He brought in the mattress in rolled up like carpet and then preceded to bring in the box spring. When he was dragging it out of the truck, a huge splinter from the bottom of the truck stabbed into the material on the box springs. He pulled it out at my request and was informed that I would prefer to not keep the damaged item. He assured me that it would be replaced and that it was not going to be an issue. I never heard from him again. I contacted the store a couple of weeks later and was advised to send a text message with my info including the problem to the owner’s phone. I did. Again I never heard anything. So a month later I text my info again and ask for a time when my replacement would arrive. This time I was asked to send a picture of the damage so he could send it to the manufacturer for warranty replacement. I explained that it wasn’t warranty; it was delivery and attempted to remind him who I was. He replies and I quote, “I don’t see a reason in replacing a box spring for a tiny hole in the dust cover on the bottom of the box spring. I think you are just trying to be difficult.” I was SHOCKED to say the least. I wasn’t asking him to replace the mattress, which as you can see was stained/discolored. I was asking him to replace something he and his driver acknowledge was damaged. The box spring has a hole from a staple sticking thru and was also filthy. I wasn’t asking him to refund my money, or take it all back, I was asking him to do what I was told he would do and send me a box spring with NO DAMAGE…Again he demanded that I send pictures. After he received the pictures, I could bring them in for replacement. So I am supposed to be responsible for taking the mattress off, taking photographs, and hauling it back to his store…when in my opinion his driver could have and should have taken photos himself to cover both himself and protect the company. Either way, I was forced to pull the mattress off take photographs and was still ignored. I have yet to get any resolution…and I do NOT recommend doing business with this company. It is sad that a business would EVER send out a product looking like this and then refuse to do anything about it. I also own a local small business and totally understand the ins and outs of business. This is not good business.
