Provided by YP.comCustomer beware: deceptive business practices by Luis and shop will cost you. *Uneccessary repairs *Minimum quality checks (makes a repair and does not fully qc his shop staff's work) putting your family at risk on the road..
Avoid this shop at all costs or use them at your own risk.
*sure, you'll get rock bottom pricing but you will also get rock bottom quality.
To all my present and future clients in response to (person h @ yelp.com and aka consumer-2011 yp.com) i want to say that we will continue to better ourselves in every aspect of customer service and vehicle maintenance. On the review it tells us no specifics of what we did wrong, what type of vehicle, what repair was done to vehicle, or what unneccessary repairs we did... I can assure you LRU will always continue to address clients concerns, as you can see @ yelp.com from our current clients.. Thank you from Luis and staff

Provided by YP.comi have a 2013 range rover evoque, came in for a check engine light for a fuel pressure problem. Steven suggested to reset light, and clear adaptations first and see if light comes back on with same code, then we would further check issue. Light did come back on and turned out to be a fuel pressure sensor. They replaced it and no check engine light anymore! Guys also did an oil change and tire rotation, will definitely come back. Oil change prices from british unlimited compared to dealer is a big difference,. Thank you!

Provided by YP.comI was referred by a guy that works at SW auto LLC, the guy told me to speak with Luis if i ever had issues with my rover.
I recently started having issues with my Land Rover LR3, i had a leak on my passanger footwell and i took it to 2 different places that aparently they knew where the problem was and never allowed me to explain where i heard where the water was coming from....i spent $500 at Sunroof king for replacing the drains of my sunroof but it kept on leaking untill i contacted Luis and i told him the names of the places where i took it and how much money i had spent and noboydy could fix it. Luis at british unlimited waited until i was done explaining and told me exactly where the problem was and told me what he was going to do and the type of warranty he would give me...i was pleased of hearing things that were similar to the research i had done online and i left him my car for him to fix it...let me tell you it was my best experience, the guys were very professionals performing the work and i noticed how he had so many land rovers that had the same issue i had....he said if come back the next day and your car is given to you and you hear or see a drop of water on your footwell again the work is free and you wont pay me anything....i truly recommend this place...im so pleased with the work that was done, he explained to me the issues i would have with my car thanks to the other places where i had taken it because they had drilled a hole in my car to put the new drains ....i will for sure keep on coming back even though is very far from home but excellent guy and very good prices ....

Provided by YP.comLet me begin by saying that Land Rovers Unlimited seems like a money-saving alternative for costly Land Rover repairs in the Houston area. Unfortunately, my personal experience has let me to feel otherwise.
I took my Land Rover in for what I thought was going to be a new engine to the tune of about $8,000. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity to get my truck back, I will only let you imagine how I felt when within days, my truck, with it's new engine installed, left me stranded on the freeway. When I returned the truck to Luis and his team, they did not seem eager to correct what I can only assume was poor workmanship or for lack of a better term, faulty repairs. When I eventually had to visit the shop in person as I could not get an answer via phone in regards to what caused the problem, I eventually went in person. I felt like I received the "run-around" and when I was told that I needed a new radiator, I quickly had my truck towed for a second opinion. As it turns out, it was much more than a radiator and since my truck overheated, several thousand dollars, later I was back on the road.
Perhaps it is naivety on my part, but when I purchased a new engine for my truck, I fully-expected that with going to such great expense, the mechanic I entrusted with my truck and my money would work to protect that investment and advise me of any other areas that may be in need of attention as to prevent any damage to a new engine. Unfortunately, I was made to believe that this shop felt it was more important to complete the repair and have me come back to spend more money than it was to tell me what needed to be replaced up front.
Due to this experience, I personally have elected to take my Land Rover elsewhere. I feel that there are more trustworthy mechanics in the Houston area. I felt that the staff at Land Rovers Unlimited were aware that they were taking advantage of me and I feel misled in regards to the condition of my vehicle.

Provided by YP.comOur family has a Land Rover Defender 90 and a LR3 and we were always paying crazy prices at other places and they wouldn't even do a good job. Think God I found Land Rovers Unlimited. Very reasonable prices and great service by Luis and his staff. After the years of there great service I wouldn't even think about taking my Rovers anywhere else!
