I had been going to this salon for 6 months and have been disappointed from the get-go at how dirty the salon always is. But I finally had enough when the tech doing my nails last week was rude to me when I wouldn't do a full set, that I needed a fill due to time constraints, and actually talked about me and my nails - in Vietnamese - in front of me to one of the other techs while at the same time pointing at my nails, so I knew she was talking about me and no one else. When she finished I thanked her for doing a good job and she laughed at me. So that was the last straw. I'll net set foot in this salon again.

I've been using this salon for 6 months, but I will no longer. The nail tech I used last night was rude and continually bad-mouthed me in my face to another tech because I would not allow her to do a full set, only a fill due to my time constraints. I told her I would have to come back on a weekend when I had more time to do a full set. Even though she spoke in Vietnamese to the other tech, I knew she was talking about me because she had already developed "an attitude" by tossing things around and constantly telling me over and over that I needed a full set, and she kept pointing down at my nails while talking to the other tech. So it was all very obvious. Then when I told her thank you, that she had done a good job, she laughed at me. I left in disbelief and was angry at myself for tipping her. I should not have tipped to let her know that was not the way to treat customers. I am 62 yrs old and have been wearing acrylic nails for over 35 years and have never been treated that way.

I have been going to Leque for quite some time with complete satisfaction. I have usually scheduled appointments so I can have the same technician provide a manicure / pedicure each time. However, in the past 6 months, I've gotten a few phone calls from the management of the place to tell me not to come because the technician is busy or has something else to do at that time. If given proper notice, I would have dismissed these inconveniences and rescheduled without incident. I went on over to Leque to speak with management about it and found that he misrepresented the facts about the appointment and that he did not want my business any longer. I don't accept lying by an American - I won't accept it from anyone else, either. I shall not patronize his establishment any longer. I am sure others have had similar experiences.

As a rule, I don't usually write reviews. I'm making an exception for this place. I went in for a pedicure, and walked out feeling like I'd spent the day at a spa. Foot and leg massage, hot wax, hot towel wrap, and hot stone massage included in deluxe pedicure. Also, massage chair, and tech massaged my hands, arms, neck and shoulders. French polish, and $45. later, I'm planning my next visit. Is tomorrow too soon? Next to Pure Fitness for Women on Louetta.
