Do not use this company. I Have a home warranty company that I used and trusted they would hire the right contractors, MJS mechanicals came out to my home in April and tried to rip me off saying I needed a new compressor and showed me what looked like a blown out housing Justin the Tech said see this is where your compressor is its blown out. They contacted my home warranty company and sent them some bogus pictures which could have been of another job they have done saying my compressor was blown out. So my home warranty denied my claim saying my ac was blown due to the storm and One Guard denied my claim and said I needed to get a new compressor and I needed to call them back so they could rewrite my claim with the new ac compressor. So I took upon my self to call another trusted ac company they had my unit up and running in less than 5 Mins. The second company who came out said that tech was wrong and maybe tried to rip me off. I was beyond upset. I informed my home warranty Co.

Follow up and initial install

I received a call from MJS asking if I would like a pre winter heating system check. I said ok and asked if while the tech was here he could inspect the lenght of our duct work for leaks. He said yes. He arrived in a timely manner and finished a short time later. He informed me that he noticed a roof vent was not up to code for the heater. It was suppose to be at least 18 inches off the roof and he estimated it was 12 inches. I reminded him that his company did the install and he explained that they have people come and go and basically you can`t watch everyone. I`m thinking that maybe a follow up quality control inspection might be needed? When I asked how much for the visit he said he wasn`t going to charge me now he would go back to the office that day and call me to set up a time to correct the vent and they would collect then. He also said that there would be no charge for fixing the vent. I never received a call later that day and it is now 3 days later and I haven`t heard anything. I called and left a message but haven`t received a call as of yet. When I do and after they they fix the vent I`ll post it.
