I have a patient that was billed $25,000 for an emergency room visit and 2 CT scans from this place. Blue Cross paid over $17,5000 and she still has a balance. They are "out of network' for all insurance plans. If I referred the same patient to an in network diagnostic center her bill would have been under a $1,000. In over twenty years of practice I have never seen anything like this.
