I am very pleased with my new engine from Ricky's Automotive. I shopped very carefully for an engine swap on my 1994 Ford Aerostar. Ricky's Automotive not only had the best price but Ricky's had the best references too. On my first phone call to Ricky's, I could tell they knew what they were talking about. Ricky and his mechanic, Chris, stayed right on top of my project and made sure everything was perfect before returning my car to me. And they didn't run up my bill with a lot of extras like so many automotive shops do. I now have a Ford Aerostar that runs like a Swiss watch! I couldn’t be happier.

I've been very skeptical of trying new places since my previous mechanic had retired and closed down their auto shop. I found Ricky's Automotive online and decided to get a quote for and engine for my 2003 Acura TL and eventually decided to take my care to them since they sounded sincere and their prices/warranties were acceptable. I must say though that I did not expect the way they treated me, the way my car came back clean as a whistle and runs better than it ever has! I'd highly recommend these guys to anyone, it's hard to find decent people in the auto repair industry and even harder to find reliable work being done for you. Five stars to these guys and thanks!

I own a Honda Accord. I bought it brand new in 2001. Three years ago, I was driving on the freeway and suddenly heard a loud noise from the engine area and engine stopped. I pulled over to the side. There was a lot of oil comming out from the bottom of the engine and I noticed a big hole near oil filter. I took it to 2 dealerships, they wanted in excess of $4500.00 to replce the engine. Then I found Ricky's Automotive in Penny Saver as low mileage used Japanese imported engines and transmissions installation specialist. Ricky, the owner quoted me $1995.00 plus tax with a 2 year warranty. I did some research on line about his business. It was all good and positive. He towed my car from El Cajon at no charge. Took 3 days to finish the job. Egine compartment was steam cleaned and under the hood it looked all like new. I paid just about $2100.00 out the door. I have put over 80,000 miles on his engine to date. I am a sales perso and have to drive a lot. Mostly to Los Angeles and back. To this day it is running absolutely trouble free, just like new. Eventhough I am a women, I found them to be very courteous, helpfull, honnest and very knowledgeable in their rpofession. I will highly recommend them to anyone in need of any kind of auto repairs.

Amazing Work and Cost

I am 100 % satisfied with the quality of work and with the amazing prices that was given to me for my Toyota Camry. I suggest that every one should bring their cars to this workshop.
