My grandfather was caretaker of this cemetery when I grew up in the 1970's. He had a young man help him who he trained and eventually took over the care of the place. I believe that he is still there to this day.

The cemetery is a beautiful well kept place that is peaceful. There is a house in the middle of the cemetery that was built before the revolutionary war. Far from being creepy, it is a happy place and my memories of it are filled with laughter of children, mint outside the kitchen window and lovely colors of the changing seasons.

This is where my grandparents rest, and it is my hope to someday be there as well. (Just not quite yet. ;-) )
