Provided by YP.comI broke down from out of town and just knew I would be taken advantage of since I did not know where to go. I chose the Aamco shop in Springdale because I knew they were nationwide, and found their price to be less than the dealership. They did what they said they would do, kept me informed, got me on the road and the car runs great. Great people to work with. I highly recommend this shop.

Provided by YP.comI've been there maybe a dozen times or so thus far and I wanted to say that they are my favorite shop I've ever been to. They don't overcharge me and in fact have saved me who knows how much in un-needed stuff. They'll be taking care of my daughters car when she starts driving too. It's a sigh of relief to have a shop you can trust these days.

Provided by YP.comI just wanted to say how impressed I am with Aamco of Springdale. After having my transmission rebuilt supposedly 3 times at another shop and it still not working right, I finally gave up and called Aamco. I should have done that in the first place. After all, they are the transmission experts of the world. But admittedly I thought I could save a few dollars by having an independent do the work they said would be "the same work for less". Boy, did I learn my lesson. There is quite a difference! Aamco had my car back to me in 4 days and it works great. It was 5 1/2 weeks at the other place and it never worked right. And to top it off, they loaned me a car so I could get to work. It cost only about one hundred dollars more than the other shop, and I have a nationwide warranty and the best part is - the transmission works great!

Provided by YP.comStay away! my transmission was having problems. before i walked in the door i was quoted up to 2600. brought it in, and they said that is what it was going to cost to rebuild the tranny. It took over 3 weeks! why did it take so long? they said they had to pull the tranny back out to put another part in.. what happened to rebuilding? were they trying to save money somewhere? they loaned me a car told me it would make noise at lights, and if i need a tow call them. well, the loaner car broke down a couple days later. i ended up paying 422 dollars for a rental for the last six days they had the car and missed all that work!!! and to top it off, i just picked up my car on 6/21 and it is 6/26 and my car broke down again yesterday, the gears stopped changing, and my dashboard went out., on the highway, it barely moved, then completely died all together. They says it has nothing to do with the transmission! without even seeing my car!!! so much for the warranty i have. i am out all that money and now my car is in another shop, i don't trust bringing it back to the Springdale branch. Be weary if you bring your car there. AAMCO's are independently owned. So i am not soured on the business, just this particular one! I am a single mom barley making ends meet and need every penny i get. i really feel i was taken advantage of, and then thrown away when they wiped their hands of me when it broke down again.

Provided by YP.comMy transmission was slamming when it shifted and switching back and forth when it wasn't supposed to. I went to 3 places and all of them told me I needed a rebuilt transmission, ranging from about $1500 to almost $2500. I went to Aamco Transmissions and they found out it was an electronic problem. They had me fixed that day and for less than $200 total. I'm glad I went to these guys before shelling out all the money for something that didn't need to be done. I really believed it needed a transmission and they could have sold me one but they didn't. I guess there still are honest shops in the world, afterall. Thanks guys!
