I was helping a friend find a Cadillac for him and his family. AutoMaxx had 2 Cadillacs on the front row of their lot, so I stopped in to inquire about one of them that was a VTX (V8). I was told both were sold, but they get them in all of the time. 2 weeks later and the Cadillac is still on the front row with the hood up like it is for sale. I called to ask why it was still there, thinking the buyer fell through. But I was told it was sold and they were waiting on the buyer to pick it up. My friend called also and was told an older gentleman bought it and he is trying to find his drivers license. They told him they wouldn't let him drive the car off of the lot without verifying his ID. Not a usual practice as far as I know..

I believe this to be a scheme to lure people in. It's called "bait and switch" or just poor business practices. Either way, buyer beware. All one man's opinion, but seems really shady to me.
