If I could give this place negative stars I totally would. By far one of the worst experiences of my life! I have never been treated so poorly! I simply went in there with my friend just to look at prom dresses and get an idea of what I want. I picked out 4 dresses to try on and the lady proceeded to tell me I could not try them on because someone from the same school had it I explained why I wanted to try it on and how I wasn't interested in buying it just checking out the style on my body type. I then proceeded to go to the fitting rooms where this lady was so incredibly rude it blew my mind saying how having the same dress as another person is the worst thing ever which in my opinion if that's the worst thing ever you need to reevaluate your life and many other rude remarks. I'm so surprised how this place is still in business if this is the way they treat everyone and by the previous reviews it is how they treat everyone. However they were incredibly nice to my friend even a little over nice. might I add I am a size 10 and my friend is a size 4 (which were basically the only sizes they had) however there was a small area in the back for "larger sizes" which is exactly what the sign said and a very poor selection if I do say so myself I also didn't know I was considered a plus size until I came into this place. I personally think that they only cater to girls smaller in size which is VERY disrespectful and discriminating. Anywaya long story short do not go there if you aren't a perfect little size 4 and don't go there if you just want to look around because they will basically tell you to get out or if you don't get out they will make your experience there a living hell. On a brighter note I saw the same exact dress at candices at custom bridals for about 200 dollars cheaper and that dress is now my perfect senior year prom dress :) if you are looking for a great friendly experience I highly recommend custom bridals in Springfield also!

Rude people and not good price range on dresses

I tried this place a few years ago and was not treated very nicely. I decided to give them a shot once more and took my daughter to look at homecoming dresses. Once again I was not dissappointed at the snobby, better then everyone attitude. We left and went to another store and was welcomed with a smile and helpfulness to find her just that right dress. I do not plan on gong back again!

I had an amazing time at Candice's Bridal. From the first time I walked in I was treated with the upmost respect of a new bride to be. I was the bride who had everything all picked out. I found a dress on their website that I thought was perfect, but once I got it on it was AWFUL! The sales women took one look and said "I know the one that will be perfect!" The dress she brought me I was not so sure about but she reassured me and I tried it on and it was actually "the one". I have never in my whole life loved a dress so much. From that moment on Candice and her crew made everything so easy. Even when we ordered my shoes and the color was all wrong she took the blame and reordered them with no cost to me and they turned out perfect! Even my bridesmaids loved them and they had no problem with my one bridesmaid who lived across the country. I owe them so much for making the dresses in my wedding day be the best they could possibly be!

I walked in with my best friend no appointment to look for a wedding dress. The young girl steaming a dress was very nice and told me where to look on the racks. I started looking however after choosing several dresses to be taken to the dressing room I was totally embarrassed as on of the associates came in and started taking the dresses out saying that they were too small for me to even try on - out loud for everyone to hear. Apparently I am too fat at a size 12 for the bridal shop. On top of that the couple of remaining dresses I did try on I had to walk out to show my BF while another mother and her two small children and teenage son sat and watched me walk out unzipped:( I was embarrassed and disappointed by the customer service and how UNwelcome there were:(

My sister is getting married in September. She made an appointment with Candices. We were looking for dresses for all the 6 of the bridemaids, and 3 flower girl dresses. When we arrived we werent even greeted when we came in. Finally we asked were we can find dresses and told them we had an appointment. And they showed us were to look. We were there for 2 hours and no one asked if they can help us or offer any assitance what so ever. My sister had to find someone to ask for color samples and they were rude and acted like every question we asked was a hassel. One of my sister's bridesmaid had said that when she was looking for a dress they checked out Candice's Boutique and thats how they treated her. I don't see how they stay in buisness. I just got married in January and we went to a lot of bridal shops all over Illinois. Every where we went they were helpful and was by your side guiding and assiting you. Getting married is stressful enough, it doesn't help to have a bridal shop that is rude and unappreciative of your buisness...
