My dog was also injured here. She came home with a quarter sized hole in her side. When I talked to the manager about it, she said that if the groomer didn't put it in her notes, it didn't happen. She said she would investigate and get back to me. Over $500 in vet bills and weeks to heal, she never called me back.

Response to David S.

As owner of Dal Acres West I would like to respond to the comments by David S. They were notified shortly after leaving with their toy reimbursement money that the original toys had been located in our sanitizer because they were soiled by their dogs in the run. Due to a shift change the new staff did not realize that is where the toys were. We are very careful here to keep everything as clean as possible. For David S. To imply that his dogs were not fed or medicated properly because we took the care to sanitize their toys is ludicrous and slanderous. Shame on you Sir for making such an unwarranted and false accusation against a business that takes such pride in the scrupulous service we provide!

We've taken our dogs there in the past with good results. However, when we went to pick up our pets today, they were very unorganized. We left dog toys for our dogs. But, when we asked about our pets toys, they indicated that they could not find them. What?! Our pets were supposed to have them while we were gone. Nope! They said that they must have gone home with another dog! They said that they would replace them if we provided receipts. So, we had to go shopping to buy new toys and take them the receipts. Nice vacation that ended on a bad note. Makes me wonder now if they fed them the food we took? What about giving one of our dogs their required meds?

While we were waiting, another costumer came to pick up their dog. They were also upset. I think that the owners need to give their employees/family a swift kick out the door and get back on the track they used to be. BOTTOM LINE: I do not recommend Dal Acres and will not return!

Family owned and operated for many, many years, we have taken our dogs here and NEVER anywhere else. We also use them for grooming and the occasional 'doggie day care' when we go out of town for the day. Personalized care and terrific concern for the animals by the entire staff. Best kennel in town....simply the best.

Lindsey at Dal Acres

I would like to say that Lindsey from Dal Acres is the BEST! I have been bringing my dogs to her for years. As the above person stated "abuse" she would never do such a thing I have watch her groom other peoples dogs while waiting for my dogs and she has the most patience I have ever seen even when the dogs are biting and scratching. She always discusses any problems my pets have she NEVER hides anything. FYI accidents happen and sometimes they aren't noticed till later on.... Especially when they are trying to groom a moving target!
