This company employs an individual named Robert Davis. Robert was hired for the construction of a roof and took the money and ran. Do not trust this individual or a company that employs him.

They built a ramp for our church and had to do it twice. They told us that every thing was in place permits and zone coding with the city that was a total lie. The work was done a while ago, but we are now having to have the work done over again for the third time and they've gone out of business and left the church in a bad situation all because we trusted the contractor and paid for every service they preformed. THEY ARE NOT HONEST!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a subcontractor PAONI CONSTRUCTION that was hired by HONEST ABE AS A SUBCONTRACTOR, I did a fabulous job and left a very satisfied customer...HOWEVER....HONEST ABE REFUSES TO PAY THEIR CONTRACTORS!!!!! They collected from the client, who was very pleased with the work of PAONI CONSTRUCTION.....and now REFUSES TO PAY me for the work I did for them!!!!!

can't emphasize enough that you must run from these goofballs! employees drink on the job!YOUR booze to boot! they tear a roof off and shingles go in neighbors flower beds! they don't care! can't lay tile worth a hoot! let alone construct a straight line! electrician is family related and he doesn't know how to do that job! had 3 outlets in 1 room dead! save yourself a LOT of grief,stress and anger! DO NOT use them OR griffitts exterior! they're both in cahoots! show up for work when they want and are unsupervised!

Words can't describe how terrible this Company is.... If you want anything done right, do NOT hire Honest Abes Construction Company. The owner is an abomination of lies and most of the people working for the owner Jacob Burris are on drugs. Run don't walk away from this Company.

Honest Abes did a really good job for my husband and i.we also have reffered them to several of our friends and the feedback was great.My husband and i asked three different friends if they knew a good contractor and all 3 named honest abes..the kicker was none of them knew eachother..

Worst company management to deal with. They don't want to get the job right.I had to get the plumbing and structural inspectors to cite them in order to get the to come back and fix some of the problems. The two shower stalls are incorrectly installed and one still leaks. Nothing but a bunch of jacklegs and no licensed plumber, didn't even get permits to do the work.Not a name you can trust.

The owner came to our home in October of 2009. He quoted us a price of $11,000. This was the low bid. We should have known better and are kicking ourselves.Said he would fix the leaky roof, plus touch up adornments under front entry way. Well, they put the roof on in one day,and worked into the dark hours. Maybe they work too fast. We have called numerous times to repair consistent leaks, some are in the same location as where the roof leaked before the $11,000 was spent. They would send Robert and he would attach "sticky caulking" all over the roof, around vents, chimney etc. He would say it would last 50 years. I am sorry, but NOT! We are applying to the Dept of Professional Regulations because we have had to contact another roofer to fix the new roof. We have no peace of mind each time it rains. It is now October of 2010 and we still have a leaky roof.

I have used this company twice over the course of the last few years and was extremely pleased with their work, their pricing, their efficiency and the way I was dealt with as their customer. I would highly recommend their service.

honest abes did my roof and those guys were some of the nicest young men.they were done with my roof in one day and cleaned up my yard better than it was when they got there.i think the fact that even if this characters story is true.if them boys keep going back to fix somthing that there must be somethn to it.i know they used GAF/ELK shingles on my roof and the owner said thats the only kind of shingle they will warranty.trust me when i tell you that the warranty system you get from these young men is unmatchable.

FIRST OF ALL, IF YOU HAVE TO NAME YOUR COMPANY "HONEST ABE" THEN YOU PROBABLY AREN'T. THESE GUYS MAY OFFER A CHEAPER SERVICE BUT BELIEVE ME, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. THEIR WORKERS ARE RUDE, BUT WORSE, THEY ARE INCOMPETENT. MOST OF THESE GUYS LOOK LIKE THEY JUST WALKED OUT OF PRISON AND AFTER SPEAKING TO AN OFFICER WHO KNOWS THEM I FOUND OUT THAT TWO OF THEIR WORKERS WERE ARRESTED FOR OUTSTANDING WARRANTS!I WOULDN'T TRUST THEM DOING WORK FOR MY WORST ENEMY MUCH LESS MY OWN HOME!THEY MAY BE CHEAP, BUT THAT IS EXACTLY THE KIND OF WORK YOU WILL GET. MY NEIGHBOR USED THEM TO DO HIS ROOF AND THE ROOF HAS BLOWN OFF 3 TIMES IN 1 YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!BUT MY NEIGHBOR KNOWS ONE OF THE WORKERS AND "FEELS SORRY FOR HIM" SO CONTINUES TO ALLOW HIM TO DO THE REPAIR WORK. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!
