Provided by YP.comMy husband and I went to the lazyboy store. We needed a sectional. I was overwhelmed at first with the challenge. My salesperson was super nice. She helped me got in touch with the lazyboy designer. That made everything easy. The designer picked out everything in my room. Sande the salesperson helped me buy the set. Great experience!!!

Provided by YP.comI went into the store like three different times. Then, I found this designer named Marci. She came out to my house and helped me design my room. She helped me pick out paint colors. It was great. They ended up delivering a sofa, couch, chair, and some tables. Then Marci brought out a lamp, and I got that too. It was a great experience!

Provided by YP.comI will never purchase anything from this Lazy Boy store again! The owner seemed like just the sweetest grandmotherly person when we purchased but later turned awful.
We bought two complete sets of living room furniture from this Lazy Boy location. Each set was not cheap approximately $3-4K. During the purchase of hte equipment, we also purchase the stainblocker protection plan. Its my understanding that they coat the furniture with a stain blocker that prevents all stains. The protection plan was not cheap, I believe it was a percentage of the purchase price, approximately $200-400 per set. The first set of couches is in our main living room and we noticed milk stains (from kids) on the cushions. Per the warranty, we attempted to clean only with rag and warm water. The wet rag did not clean the stain. Step 2 on the warranty is to call the company to clean the item. Per the warranty agreement, if they are unable to clean the stain, your furniture will be replaced. (It was a main selling point during the purchase of the warranty and furniture. The sales person really emphasized it). When a contracted "stain cleaner" showed up to our house, he had a rag and leather claener in his hands (for a cloth couch). He wiped on the couch for 15 seconds and said it was no luck. He referred the stain to the warranty company used by Lazy Boy (located in Michigan. I received nothing for several weeks. After I started calling the company, I could only get voicemail or I had to send a letter. It was apparent very quickly that they were trying to dodge me to avoid their responsibilities with the warranty. They only contacted me after I threatened with a call to my attorney general's office. They checked on a replacement for my couch and said it is not manufatured by Lazy Boy anymore therefore they wanted to send me a refund for the warranty I paid and discontinue my warranty and give me a small store credit ($600 I think on a now more expensive couch) Why did I pay it in the first place? How about find something close? I called the Lazy Boy owner (Sande) and explained the situation to her. She was appauled until I told her that I wanted her help. She didn't know what could be done. I then leeled her by saying "I hold Lazy Boy responsible because you allowed a fraudulent company like this access to me....and you sold me services based on how great they would be. I'm sure this isn't the first complaint you've received. She then changed her tune and said they were trying to adhere to the warranty. We disagreed for a while, before agreeing that I would come see her in the store to discuss buying a new couch with a discount. When I showed up to the store, it was running many of its weekend promotions, and I asked a sales clerk for Sande. When she walked over she started yelling at me that she couldn't help me and that I have to deal with the warranty people. I don't know if she even realized that my wife, 6 year old son and 3 year old daughter were standing right behind me. I mentioned that we agreed to look at a discounted couch and she said "Oh yeah". I looked back at my wife who had her jaw on the floor and both kids were hugging one of my wive's legs. We walked out and promised to never buy from her again. This occured in Feb 2015.

Provided by YP.comIn the past has been very good furniture, however was very disappointed with recent purchase from the Champaign, IL location. Quality was terrible and samples did not match the end product. Please be very careful when you purchase furniture to take your color sample outside, bend and contort the sample to look for color shifting, and make sure what arrives is the same as what you ordered.

Provided by YP.comI would not recommend buying anything from this store. We bought new Lazy Boy furniture last year from this store because our old Lazy Boy furniture still looks great to this day, but just 6 months after buying our new Lazy Boy Furniture we noticed little balls forming all over the fabric, kinda like you see on a cheap t-shirt after its been washed a lot. So, just a couple of months ago we went in to talk to the woman that sold it to us, we were told she is the owner of this store. I told her about these little balls and she said, I know exactly what your talking about and all you have to do is to take a stone and rub it on your fabric where ever you see these balls forming and I said I'm not going to rub a stone on my furniture everytime I see this. I said we paid extra for a warranty on our fabric doesn't that cover this and she said no. I said its obvious that this is a cheaper material Lazy Boy is using and she said no, it cost just as much and I said it may cost as much but the quality is much less. The quality of the Lazy furniture we bought is comparable to furniture at Big Lots, so if I had it to do over again, why would I pay a high price for Lazy Boy furniture if I could go to Big Lots and get the same quality of furniture? So I would not recommend buying from this woman.

Provided by YP.comI can't agree more with the one star reviews. We purchased two sofas and had similar problems. The leather had glue all over it and it took weeks to get it corrected. The cushions have big gaps and the frame is very loose and junk!! We spent so much money on garbage, this furniture is rarely used and is falling apart. The warranty is terrible, they make you pay for the labor even though it has never been correct!!!!! I WOULD CONSIDER ALL OF THESE REVIEWS A MAJOR WARNING, STAY AWAY FROM LAZY BOY FURNITURE!!!!!

Provided by YPmobileI purchased two pieces of furniture. I was told it was their biggest sale. Best price ever. Never going to get this price again. So I fell for the bs. Took over a month to get it to me when they said it would ship 5 days later. Delivery was a joke. Two " kids" delivered it. It wasn't wrapped or covered. Hauled in the house, slapped together and a sign here. Leather colors didn't match. Big uneven gaps in the recliner console combo piece. I rejected the combo deal but kept the sofa. Had a day to think about it and decided to just take the sofa back. On my own to save a $89 delivery/ pick up charge. I took greater care in my returning the sofa than the " kids" did delivering it. The end result was my returning all pieces and having to pay for the leather protection plan. They can not refund the leather protection. BUT they will charge the next person for the leather protection on that same sofa. Buyer beware. Do not get the leather protection..it will sound affordable and good....but when your cheap unacceptable furniture arrives and you don't want it, you will be paying for the leather protection. If you can pick it up at the store I strongly advise it. You can make sure all the pieces are covered and protected from any damage, and if will save you $89. I feel that this place is overpriced and has the leather( probably any fabric) protection plan scam in place to at least make some money on the dissatisfied people. They really did not care what logical sense I made. The sales lady actually walked away from me. Probably a good decision on her part. Don't recommend this business at all. Go elsewhere for furniture. Jensen's Hendrick's and Good's are all LaZBoy dealers. Free delivery and better prices.
