Located in Springfield, Ill., Lutheran High School is an educational school that provides a variety of general academic programs to students in grades 9 through 12. It is accreditated by the National Lutheran Schools Association and is a member of the Illinois High School Association and the National Honor Society. Its curriculum includes religion, fine arts, math, science and English. The school also conducts classes in computer applications, geography, family life, biology, accounting, business math and world literature. Its facilities include a study hall and English and math laboratories. The school organizes a range of athletic activities that includes football, basketball, softball, baseball, cross-country, and track and field. It operates a student council and chess and drama clubs. In addition, Lutheran High School is owned by various Lutheran churches and governed by the Lutheran High School Association of Springfield.
