The Division of Rehabilitation Services is governed by the Illinois Department of Human Services. The division provides employment, education and independent living opportunities for individuals suffering with disabilities. It works in partnerships with disabled people and their families. The Division of Rehabilitation Services offers services through more than 45 offices located throughout Illinois. The Illinois Department of Human Services also operates developmental disabilities, mental health, human capital development, alcoholism and substance abuse, and community health and prevention divisions.
