Provided by YP.comNot a Church of the reformed movement, in that Reformers practiced the baptism of children. Instead this is a church of the Remonstrance response to the Reformed developments. It is part of the Stone-Campbell movement and wants to "Restore" the church to its origins, meaning, they want to convert the church to their belief system.
Yes, West Side is an Independent Christian Church, born out of the Stone-Campbell Movement, aka the Restoration Movement of the 1800s(not to be confused with the Reformation Movement of the 1500s and 1600s). Restoration Movement leaders aimed to restore that God-glorifying, first-century unity to the Church which, at the time, had become quite divided by various denominational creeds and extra-biblical traditions. Their hope was to unite believers around loyalty to Christ and the God-inspired scriptures (rather than the creeds and traditions of men).
