On Thursday, October 20, 2011,...

On Thursday, October 20, 2011, I experienced the WORST customer service that I've ever endured at any establishment in my entire life -- no hyperbole -- at the Apothecary.

Worker Tobey Billups claimed that I did not have medical insurance. I did -- he simply wouldn't communicate with my insurer, even after I got my insurer on the phone. To this, Billups opined, "it's not my job to deal with your insurance!" Though I'm not a pharmacy tech, I am fairly sure that it is, in fact, a pharmacy tech's job to "deal with my insurance."

Due to Billups's incompetence/laziness, I had to pay $42 for 4 pills -- basic theft. I expressed my dismay and Billups told me to "get out of here you f**kin' clown!"

After a leadership retreat, I called and demanded a refund. Tobey Billups was not there, but the pharmacist who'd witnessed the ordeal was -- he returned my $42, gave me the remaining Rx, but could not look me in the eye, nor apologize. All he said: "we're square now." Not so -- after this review, we are.
