The Pioneer Valley Central Labor Council is the local voice of the AFL-CIO, the nation’s largest federation of unions. The mission of the AFL-CIO is to improve the lives of working families - to bring economic justice to the workplace and social justice to our nation. Central Labor Councils organize in the community to promote social justice for all working people. PVCLC’s 57 affiliates are Local Unions, Union Councils, and the Workers Center, Casa Obrera, in Springfield. It is a founding member of Western Massachusetts Jobs with Justice and the Pioneer Valley Project/Proyecto del Valle Pionero.
