I will not return. My jacket wasn't ready when promised, she never answers her phone so one can find out if the item is ready ... when I did pick up my jacket the repair was nice, but it reeked of cigarette smoke. Unless you're smoker and that stench doesn't bother you, beware.

I won't go back, not even to have her fix her mistakes. I don't recommend for military. I went in at lunch time on a Tuesday and told her I needed my dress uniform for the following Monday morning. She said to check with her on Friday at 3. I needed to have patches sewn onto my jacket, gold braids on the sleeves and my skirt hemmed. I also gave her an ACU top to sew the rank and name tapes onto that, but told her that was not a priority. I called at 3 on Friday and the uniform wasn't done, so I didn't have it for the event I needed it for. Since she doesn't work weekends, I picked it up the following week. I was angry to see a man waiting there and she was sewing his uniform as he waited. Why is it she couldn't complete my order in 3 days when she knew I had a deadline, yet she could complete someone else's order on his lunch break?!



As for the items she did, I couldn't be more unhappy with her work. I wrote R and L on the back of my sleeve rank for my dress uniform because one looked better and I wanted that one for the left side for my DA photo. She got that wrong. My service stripes were frayed because of they way she sewed them on. The gold braids on the sleeves have visible holes with blue showing through because of her speed/technique and they're not even straight. The skirt appears to be done well enough, but the whole uniform smells of smoke and it is covered in lint. The worst part is my ACU top. This was a brand uniform with branch new patches that I picked from the best of my issued items. For the the U.S. Army tape, either she didn't use the one I provided or she damaged the one I did give her. It's very poor quality and looks like crap. The rank was only sewed on two sides so there is a gap at the top and bottom. I would be embarrassed to wear it to a board or parade, and that was going to be my intention for this top.



Right before I paid, she asked me who my supply sergeant was. I gave her the name and she said, oh, if it was so and so she's doing his stuff for free so she would have done mine for free too if we were in the same unit. Why would you say that do a customer?! She charged me $45 for her shoddy work that was late. I will have to spend additional money to get my dress uniform dry cleaned to get the smoke smell out. I don't know how she stays in business.

Said the tux would be done on Wednesday but when I stopped in on Friday to pick it u, she couldn't even find it. Finally found it and had'nt even touched it. Wish I had read the reviews first. Run.
