I was told by Acura of Springfield not to go to another mechanic to service my Acura MDX. Acura of Springfield told me other mechanics were not trained to work on an Acura nor did they have the certification or tools! When I took my MDX to Acura of Springfield they failed to diagnose my rough shifting and high rpm when transmission shifts. Acura of Springfield Missouri told me it was motor mounts. When I questioned this several times they said I had no transmission problems and it was 100% because of my motor mounts. I am a 46 year old woman and I put my trust in Acura of Springfield so called expertise and had them replace my motor mounts for $600.00 Three weeks later my engine light came on with a TCC Selnoid failure. Now since I have driven my MDX with tranmission problems I probably have suffered engine damage.
