Really tasty pan-Asian fare! The hot buffet is delicious and offers a great variety of dishes including soups. The Mongolian barbecue is surprisingly high-quality and included in the buffet. The sushi is the only buffet sushi I have ever found enjoyable. There is even a dessert buffet (included!) with fruits and ice cream! All in all it is definitely worth the price.

Scratch whatever the guy said who gave this place one star, he can't even complete a full sentence.



My husband and I are long-time Springfieldians who are always on the lookout for a good Asian buffet. Tonight he and I went to Asian King Buffet. We were a little concerned because there were hardly any cars in the parking lot, which made us wonder if it was because the food was bad. Upon walking in, we were greeted by friendly wait staff and seated. The sushi bar was wonderfully presented and was equally tasty. VERY good variety, as well. I am very picky about crab rangoon and was somewhat surprised by the small, wonderfully flaky phyllo pastry which had the cream cheese, crab and the best EVER seasonings lightly fried into it. The pastry surrounding this was wonderfully light, and every bit was tender. (Warning: YOU WILL BECOME ADDICTED. Lol!)

The egg drop soup was just short of heaven--has the most incredible mouth-feel, and the consistency is JUST RIGHT.

My husband was blown away by how good the General Tso's Chicken was. Everything we tried was SUPERB. This is now going to be our go-to spot for Asian!! And ALL the workers were extremely nice and courteous.

The only reason this place was only given five stars is because there were no additional stars as options!
