I love the food, and have been very happy with the restaurant in general until today. We walked in, and immediately smell cigarettes. My sister in law went to the restroom, and the owner is in there smoking. I thought that smoking was outlawed in Springfield restaurants. Anyway, they lost regular patrons when it was questioned and immediately started arguing in Vietnamese. I don't speak or understand it, but the body language and tone are universal. I won't be back, my in laws won't be back, basically about 70 patrons each month have been removed from Bambu on a permanent basis because of one owner.

The food is AMAZING here! They have the best crab rangoon I have had in a very long time. Their Pho is seasoned perfectly and the pineapple chicken is wonderful. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice.

i feel uneasy about it,

afraid of getting hepatitis there

never been to vietnam so don't know how "authentic" this is. but have eaten lots of vietnamese in the states and Bambu is as good as any place I've eaten. The pho is excellent. What I like is the rice vermicelli dish. A light dish that is filling. I appreciate the condiments that are on each table, they spice up the food nicely to just your perferred flavor. go here for good vietnamese in the middle of the ozarks.
