So I had worked with this company for about 8 months. When I started working for them I had been promised $8.50 an hour. This wasn't the case though. They had me at $7.50 from the beginning and only raising my pay to $7.65 because minimum wage increased. When I brought this to their attention several times, I was told each time that they would fix it. I had asked about recieving back pay for the hours I worked which was an immediate fight. So I found a new job, while still talking to anyone I could about recieving the pay I worked for. The total amount they owe me is $1427.73. After months of trying to get ahold of the right people they finally sent me a check. The check amount was $229.50. So they still owe me $1228.23. I talked to them once again about the embarrassing attempt to try and shut me up, and they seem to think this is reasonable. So my question to this incredibly dishonest company is, how do you expect your customers to trust you when your employees can't. I would also like to encourage any other employees that either currently work for this company or former employees to speak up if you've been cheated out of your earnings.
