Gracie's store is beautiful. T...

Gracie's store is beautiful. Things are set up nicely. The dresses are hung up and look great! BUT, you can cover a pile of poo with sugar and it's still poo. I was blown away by how snooty and snobby the lady who helped us was. I am a bride on a little budget. I am paying for my wedding myself. I told the lady by wedding dress budget (with alterations & tax, I could NOT go over $500). I was first told that that would be next to impossible. She then started showing me $700 dresses and said if I could up my dress budget she might be able to give me a small discount on an off the rack dress, but it wouldn't be near $500. She asked if we were checking any other stores. I told her we were going to David's Bridal. She scoffed and said "you won't find anything under $500 at any store". Then she said "plus, David's Bridal will way overcharge on any alterations you may need". I mentioned that David's was starting their $99 sale tomorrow. She stuck her nose a little higher in the air and said "yeah, where one dress is $99 and the rest are full price?". She made sure to tell me again how finding a dress for my budget was going to be impossible. As a bride, I shouldn't be treated like that or made to feel like I'm less of a person because maybe I don't have my daddy's credit card and an unlimited budget. I went to David's bridal and found a GORGEOUS designer dress that normally sells for $1100. It had been discontinued and was on sale for $198. YES $198!!!! (not even on their $99 dress sale day). With the alterations I needed (which there were a few PLUS I requested a corset back be put in), plus tax, my GRAND total was $469, $30 UNDER the budget that I was made to feel would be next to impossible to keep. If someone comes in and you know you aren't going to have any dresses in their budget, just apologize to them and wish them luck. Easy to do.

I LOVED my experience at Graci...

I LOVED my experience at Gracie's Bridal!!! I was worried to start dress shopping because I only had a vague idea of the type of dress I wanted and I do not enjoy shopping. It turns out there was no need to worry! The staff helped me find the perfect dress for my wedding. I liked two dresses and the staff encouraged me to try the dresses on back to back. That was extremely helpful in making my decision. I realized after trying the dresses on back to back which one I really loved. Even though retrying the dresses on was time consuming I never felt rushed or pushed by the staff to make my decision. When my dress came in, Gracie’s stored my dress for free! And if I ever had a question the staff was always available to answer them. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Gracie's Bridal is AWFUL! Save...

Gracie's Bridal is AWFUL! Save your time and money and go have a pleasant experience elsewhere. Andrea (the owner) is rude, a liar, and has a bad attitude. She ordered a bridesmaid dress for me and when it finally came I discovered that she ordered the dress 2 sizes too big. She proceeded to blame me and said I called in my measurements even though I got my measurements done at Gracie's with the bride's sister. Andrea proceeded to tell me that all of the dresses "should need altered." She obviously orders the dresses large on purpose to charge more for alterations. Of course Andrea recommended her in-house seamstress, but wouldn't allow me to speak to her even though she was in the back. I took the dress to an alteration place across town so I'd never have to deal with Andrea and her attitude again. Do yourself a favor and look up the reviews of her shop on Google. Stay far away from Andrea and her shop Gracie's Bridal.
